Immerse yourself in the sailing lifestyle. Gain your experience on boats set up like private boats, privately managed at your favorite sailing destination. We offer a number of options for inexperienced sailors to get out on the water.
Try before you buy. Charter with or without a captain. Learn to sail, or improve your skills. We are in all the prime sailing areas where you want to be…
All of our sailing programs include live-aboard courses on comfortable Jeanneau or Fountaine Pajot popular cruising models. Learn 24 hours a day. Immerse yourself in sailing. No hotel bills. Bring your family. It’s fun. It’s a vacation and learning experience– and generally costs less.
Try before you buy
If you’re not familiar with our boats, we offer a Try-Before-You-Buy experience before you make a final decision. With this program, you can be reimbursed up to 3 days of your charter costs off the purchase of your boat. You can try any of our new, Jeanneaus or Fountaine Pajot catamarans at participating bases. Try it just to try it, or make Try-before-you-buy a part of your charter or ASA course.
This approach offers an ideal way to actually live aboard the boat you’re considering for up to 3 days — on us. In addition to experiencing the boat, our customers report that this is a great way to help decide on options they want to add, or don’t need at all. Meet our friendly people, learn about different sailing areas — our goal is to make it easy and show you what we can do for you.

ASA Sailing Courses and Chartering
We offer the full range of sailing courses at most of our affiliate bases. ASA is the world-wide, recognized standard for learning to sail, or getting certified to charter a boat. Generally you take up to four courses to get certified for chartering.
This is a program similar to learning to fly. You get checked out on each level, and your new skills get added to your log book. You can audit earlier courses if you already have some experience.
With our approach, you start by forming your own group, or joining one of ours. You actually stay aboard the boat full time during your course. So it’s a vacation, a sailing course and a chance to see how the boat “lives,” all in one. At the end of the day, this is a better, more meaningful experience that actually costs less than staying at a resort hotel and going out on a day-sailor.
ASA shows first courses on a smaller boat, but you can do them on our live-aboard cruising boats as well. You can start at one base and finish at a different base — the choice is yours.
Typically you can take courses 1-3 in a weekend, or 5 day during the week, and the final, charter-ready course over a separate weekend. It is possible to do all four in a week if you’re ambitious. You can organize your own group, or join one of ours.
