After four decades of helping yacht owners find the ideal location to place their yacht into charter management, Atlantic Cruising Yachts has announced the formation of Waypoints® — a network of affiliated, independently-owned, boutique charter bases.
The sailing public will experience the Waypoints® network for the first time at the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis on October 5. Affiliated locations include Cruise Annapolis in the Chesapeake, Cruise Abaco in the Bahamas, Virgin Islands Yacht Charters in the U.S. Virgin Islands, BVI Yacht Charters in the British Virgin Islands, and Sailing Florida on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
“Every one of our members has a passion for sharing the amazing sailing waters they call home, and a commitment to delivering a top-notch charter experience,” Atlantic Cruising Yachts president Chris Bent said.
For charter customers, Waypoints® offers an independent, boutique charter experience, managed by local owners who know the best sailing waters and hidden gems of their home base. In addition, the yachts available for charter at each Waypoints® location are new-model, privately-owned Jeanneau yachts and Fountaine Pajot catamarans. Waypoints® also offers yacht owners the flexibility to place their yacht into charter management nearly anywhere in the Atlantic or Caribbean, backed by a shared reputation for quality management and maintenance. Susan Restauri will head up charter bookings for the Waypoints® network. Restauri is a 10 year industry veteran who brings valuable experience and expertise with marketing and booking bareboat and crewed yacht charters.
